Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s newest console released worldwide in 2017. The Switch is considered a part of the eighth-generation consoles since Nintendo’s focus is still not on graphical capabilities like it’s competitors. Instead, Nintendo is still on the innovative path when it comes to gameplay and made the Switch to be a hybrid console. It is considered the first true hybrid console even though some handheld consoles have had the ability to be plugged to a television. The console is essentially a tablet which can either be played with it’s built in screen and detachable controllers, or put in a dock plugged to a TV. The controllers also have some of the features of the Wii Remote like motion sensing. The Switch has been a major success for Nintendo from launch and is their second best selling home console up to date.
